Broadacres has announced that Lee Sugden has been appointed as their Interim Chief Executive and joined Broadacres on Monday 4 August. Helen Simpson, Chair of Broadacres said, "We are delighted to announce that Lee Sugden has joined Broadacres as our Interim Chief Executive. Lee has a strong track record, as an experienced and respected Chief Executive within the sector. We are looking forward to him working with Broadacres Board and Executive Team to continue to deliver our corporate objectives."
A Harrogate-based group which supports the siblings of children with special needs has received a funding boost from Broadacres.
A grant from Broadacres is supporting the efforts of a village community to ensure its green spaces are protected for future generations.
And as part of Rural Housing Week (7th to 11th July), York and North Yorkshire Mayor, David Skaith visited both sites to see the work in progress.
A North Yorkshire community athletics club, launched following the pandemic to offer sporting opportunity for young people, has proved so successful they have a lengthy waiting list – and it has now also attracted funding from Broadacres.
