How to end your tenancy and ending a tenancy on behalf of someone else
Thank you for being a Broadacres customer and living in one of our homes. We are sorry that you are thinking about leaving us, but we know that circumstances can change. If there is anything we could do that would allow you to stay in your home, please contact your Neighbourhood Officer.
Your tenancy agreement is a legal document, and you must give us notice (4 weeks) in writing if you wish to end your tenancy.
Your tenancy will always end on a Sunday, if you hand your notice in on a Wednesday the four week notice period will commence on the following Sunday and your tenancy will end four weeks later. If you are moving to another Broadacres home, then you may not need to give four weeks’ notice, however you will continue to be charged until you return your keys.
There may be circumstances where you need to end the tenancy on behalf of someone else, for example if they have died.
In these circumstances please use our ‘Third Party End of Tenancy’ form at the bottom of this page.
Please note: If the tenant can manage their own property affairs, do not use this form.
In those cases, the tenant should complete a ‘Notice to End Your Tenancy’ form below.
Please send the completed forms to:
