Our safeguarding policies and procedures are founded on safeguarding principles
Safeguarding refers to measures taken to protect the health, wellbeing, and the human rights of individuals, particularly children and adults at risk, from harm, abuse, and neglect.
Our policy and procedures are founded on safeguarding principles and the values that govern how the safeguarding adults procedure should be implemented, such as empowerment, protection, prevention, proportionality, partnership and accountability.
We recognise that all children have a right to protection from abuse, and we take seriously our responsibility to protect and safeguard the welfare of children.
