Experience:
Tim is an experienced retail leader who initially spent 10 years working in head office positions in London for retailers including Debenhams and Disney Store. He moved to the North-East in 2009 and is approaching 15 years at the Clinkard Group where he currently sits on the board as Managing Director – Retail. Tim became a trustee of Teesside Hospice in May 2019 and has now taken on the role of Trading Company Chair. When not at work or parenting, Tim can usually be found in the gym trying to forget he’s now approaching 50.

Personal statement:
Rural North Yorkshire has been a very successful area for Charles Clinkard stores and eCommerce over a number of years. It is a privilege to have the opportunityto put something back into a community that has supported us so strongly. Housing is a key need for every person and should be a foundation for a happy life. I am passionate about helping improve the living experience in rural North Yorkshire through the provision of quality and affordable housing and the delivery of class-leading customer service.
