Is there a waiting list?

There is a waiting list for many of the sites. But there are currently some garages, which are available now. They are located at:

• Ashland’s Rd Northallerton
• Clarkson Court Northallerton
• Prospect View Northallerton

How is the waiting list managed?

Priority is given to applicants who want to store a vehicle, which is used daily. Broadacres tenants will be given priority over non-tenants.

If a garage is not in high demand it can be rented to store other items.

Normally you can only rent one garage, unless there is no waiting list for the garage site in which case you may be able to rent more than one garage.

How much does a garage cost?

The weekly rent is £4.58. If you are not a tenant of a dwelling belonging to Broadacres Housing Association the rent will be subject to VAT, making the total rent £5.27 per week.

Erecting your own garage

You need our permission if you want to build a garage. You may also need planning permission. If you would like further advise you should contact us.
