Victim Support Charter signed

Victim Support

Broadacres has teamed up with North Yorkshire Victim Support to create an Anti-Social Behaviour Victim Support Witness Charter which is designed to support any of its customers who have been repeat victims of anti-social behaviour.

The Anti-Social Behaviour Victim Support and Witness Charter provides free, confidential, support and information to help tenants cope with the effects of crime and anti-social behaviour. In addition, if they are required to attend as a witness at court, Victim Support will arrange for someone to accompany them around the court and to explain how the legal process works.

Broadacres is committed to tackling all forms of anti-social behaviour and harassment on its estates, ensuring it does not interfere with a tenants’ right to peaceful enjoyment and quality of life in their own home.

‘Broadacres and its partners are making measurable progress in combating anti-social behaviour. This Charter is another step forward and confirms Broadacres determination to stamp out such behaviour’ commented Steve Towers, Managing Director.

‘Victim Support offers a free and confidential service to all victims of crime. We will help support victims of anti-social behaviour, especially those who have been repeat victims and who have to attend court as a witness’ Rob Pearce – North Yorkshire Victim Support.
