To celebrate the recent acquisition of 26 new properties in Woodbine Close, Great Ayton, Broadacres housing staff held a get to know you session for their latest customers. The properties, which were formerly owned by the Yorkshire Housing Group, were recently purchased by Broadacres Housing Association under an arrangement approved by the Tenant Services Authority (the body which regulates registered social landlords). This arrangement encourages landlords to rationalise their stock holdings to ensure that housing services can be delivered locally and tailored to meet local needs.

Jackie Cotterill Senior Housing Officer with Broadacres said, ‘This was a perfect opportunity for our staff to meet with some of our newest customers and to explain to them the level of service they can expect from us’.  A number of other staff were also on hand during the course of the day to help answer a range of queries to ensure that customers had a seamless transition between landlords.
