Furniture store
The Richmond and Hambleton Furniture Store is
a charity based in Northallerton aimed at supplying good
quality used furniture and some electrical items to
people on low incomes and/or benefits. One of our key aims is
also to recycle unwanted items by diverting these from
landfill.
We operate from Brompton Road (adjacent to
Alpha Dental Centre), Northallerton. We are open
on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 9am - 1pm and Wednesday 9am -
4pm. We are also open on a the first Saturday of
every month 9am - 1pm.
We offer free delivery and collection on the
following days, Tuesday and Thursday all
day and Wednesday morning and we cover Richmondshire
and Hambleton areas.
Prices vary according to item but we currently
make no charge for collection or delivery.

Collections are arranged by telephoning 07801
591 581. The furniture must be in clean and saleable condition
(i.e. no pet scratches, staining and odour-free); all upholstered
furniture must have the current fire labels attached. Due to the
limited storage space we can only take items that are less than 10
years old and the recycling operatives have final discretion at the
collection address. All the electrical items must be in working
condition (we currently do not accept washing machines,
dishwashers, cookers, and small electrical appliances, due to the
cost of PAT testing).
Purchase
Free deliveries are arranged at the time of
sale. Prices vary according to the condition and type of furniture
and any items purchased must be paid for before delivery.
