Services for older people
Our service operates throughout Hambleton District offering
support to older and vulnerable people. If you require support
and do not live within the district we can put you in touch
with an appropriate service in your area.
The service is designed to help people to remain in their own
home, maintaining their independence with greater confidence and
security. It is available to any vulnerable person living in the
Hambleton District.
The service is delivered by teams of staff located
across the district. Each support worker has a portfolio of clients
and delivers a service based upon an individual needs assessment
and support plan. It is mainly delivered during office hours
although support workers are available in the evenings and at
weekends for pre-arranged visits. If you claim housing or council
tax benefit or are on a limited income you may be able to receive
the service free of charge.
The service is supported by our 24 hour call centre who
will answer your lifeline calls and arrange help.
