Membership of Broadacres Housing Association
Who can become a member of Broadacres Housing Association?
Our Board of Management will consider all applications to become
members of the Association. There are, however, some basic
conditions that all applications must meet.
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old.
The applicant must not be:
- an employee of the Association or one of its contractors, or
have been so in the last 12 months;
- the husband, wife, partner, parent, grandparent, child,
grandchild, brother or sister of a board member, or an employee of
someone who has been a board member in the last 12 months; or
- in debt to the Association.
We would like to encourage all of our tenants, and anyone else
who could make a positive contribution to the organisation, to
become members.
Why become a member of Broadacres Housing Association?
If you are a member of the Association, you:
- can attend and vote at the annual general meeting and any
special general meeting;
- will get copies of our annual report;
- will get copies of our publications; and
- will be eligible to be elected onto our Board of
Management.
