Eviction

When you become a Broadacres tenant you will be required to sign a tenancy agreement when you accept your property.

The tenancy agreement is a legal document that sets out the rules and responsibilities that apply to us and you.

If you do not comply with the conditions listed in your tenancy agreement we can apply to the Courts to have your tenancy ended.

Broadacres will only use eviction as a very last resort when all other alternatives have been exhausted.

The main reasons why tenants are evicted are:

  • Failure to pay the rent
  • When you, members of your household and visitors have behaved in an anti-social manner

To ensure you are not one of the few people we evict:

  • Contact us as soon as you experience any problems paying your rent
  • Make sure you, the members of your household and your visitors respect your neighbours by not acting in a anti-social manner.
