Tenant Oil Purchase Scheme

During October 2008 we introduced an oil scheme to assist those customers who sometimes find it difficult to purchase oil in bulk. The aim of our scheme is to allow Broadacres tenants the option to pay for oil by making monthly payments.

The benefits to tenants are:

• It’s easier to budget for oil making regular monthly payments
• Choice of two local oil suppliers; and
• We have secured a discount of 2.5p per litre from the oil suppliers

Alne Heating Oil Co-Operative

The Alne Oil Co-Operative was formed in 2009 and adopted a successful model already running in Brafferton and Helperby.

The scheme is open to local residents, charities and schools located in the Alne and surrounding settlements.
